Юмористический скетч "The Khaddaffi Look" вышел в SNL в 1981 (7X01), но я увидел его в выпуске, что вышел весной 1982 года. SNL порой повторяет удачные скетчи-рекламы внутри одного сезона, так что никаких разногласий тут.

На Ютубе этого скетча нет. А очень жаль ... и странно. Очень хорошо снят, по-современному. Это пародия на рекламу одежды компании Jordache Jeans.

А Каддафи в 1981 отмечал 12 лет у власти. Настоящие проблемы у него начнутся на третьем десятке...

Из-за высоких цен на нефть Каддафи был тогда на пике. На его беду yt не только цены начнут снижаться в начале 80-х, но и в 1982 примут (третью) Конвенцию ООН по морскому праву, и США начнут дразнить его в ливийских территориальных водах.
