Этот журнал 17 июля написал статью «How the West Misunderstood Moscow in Ukraine». «Как Запад неправильно понял действия Москвы в Украине». Статья короткая, но в целом емкая. Ссылки в конце. Я выписал ниже основные мысли авторов. Но у меня остались вопросы. Получается так, что вся вина сваливается на западных журналистов. Они торчали в Москве, имели российско-центричные взгляды, прикармливались Кремлем. Поэтому они очнулись неподготовленными только летом 2022. Западная публика получала от них в период 2014-2022 только прокремлевские объяснения про «гражданскую войну в Украине». Ладно. Такой взгляд можно принять. Но ведь кроме журналистов были академики из разных институтов по проблемам безопасности. Wilson Center Cold War Project тот же самый. Эти западные институты собаку съели на советской тактике гибридной войны силами спецслужб. Они должны были всё сразу понять в 2014 году. Про эти институты в статье не сказано ни слова.

Лола Йерро из Эльпаис утверждает в своей статье про риски дезинформации, что служащие ВСУ должны покупать часть снаряжения за свои деньги. Что-то сомневаюсь в этом. Первый раз об этом слышу. Про ВС РФ такое слышно постоянно с сентября 2022.

Она еще там пару цифр подозрительных озвучивает в тексте.

ISW сегодня прояснил про подозрительные цифры. Был какой-то опрос, и Кремль искажает. Эльпаис доверчиво скушал кремлевскую интерпретацию.

A Russian milblogger deliberately misrepresented the results of a recent public opinion poll conducted by the Ukrainian National Democratic Institute and Kyiv International Institute of Sociology. The milblogger claimed that the results of the survey show that a majority (57 percent) of Ukrainians are in favor of starting negotiations with Russia and used this false presentation of the results of the survey to claim that the West is controlling Ukrainian decision-making in its favor.[78] The survey found that while 57 percent of respondents are in favor of Ukraine entering into negotiations with Russia, the majority of that 57 percent believe that Ukraine should enter into negotiations with clear conditions that Ukraine will not make any territorial concessions and will reject Russia's demands for Ukraine to renounce its NATO or EU membership aspirations.[79] This survey is consistent with the results of a Ukrainian survey published on July 15, which found that Ukrainians widely reject Russia's demands for Ukrainian capitulation.[80]
